At Pioneer Camp & Retreat Center we have many reasons to be thankful.
First and foremost, is the fact that God continues to bless our efforts to provide a Camp and Retreat ministry that honors Him and helps His people.
We are also extremely thankful for you -- every individual, every family, every church, every group, every business, and every school that makes a choice to actively participate in the Pioneer ministry. Your attendance at various Retreats, your generous financial support, and unwavering volunteer efforts are truly what sustain us and the Camps that happen each Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall.
Pioneer Camp & Retreat Center continues to successfully accomplish the vitally important mission of creating opportunities for people to draw close to God in a Christian environment here in Angola, NY.
It is said that Pioneer is "A warm place in the SON..." Well, I'd say this truth is often testified to by people of all ages who find that this is the special place and facility God chooses to speak into their hearts and minds.
Critical to continuing success is our ability to offer quality Christian Camp and Retreat opportunities that are affordable for a wide range of families and groups. As costs and fees continue to rise, families and groups find it more and more difficult to afford coming to Pioneer. We understand that. The Pioneer Staff (and volunteers) work very hard at being good stewards of the available resources, and make every effort to help keep expenses as low as possible.
In addition to this effort we need the community's help; we need your help. Participation fees cover most, but not all of the operating budget. To close the gap we depend on the generous support of Pioneer friends like you. If you haven't already, please check out our new website and look for the 'Support Pioneer' page where you can learn about all the numerous ways that you can help be a blessing to us for Him today.
Many families have already contributed to this effort in a variety of ways. Again, thank you very much. Please know that every gift is important and appreciated. We always recognize and acknowledge that every family has different stewardship capacities and responsibilities. Our request is simply that every family would understand the need, pray about things together, and then respond as they are able to.
